Review
I recently decided to get me a new pair of gloves because I got tired of getting cold hands whenever I had to take off my gloves to use my smartphone. So I went over to the local REI store to see what touch tip gloves they had available. I tried on various gloves and settled on purchasing the Manzella Hybrid TouchTip Gloves:
At the store I found the gloves to for the most comfortably and operated my iPhone the best. The price was affordable as well at $25.00. So I bought the gloves and have been using them on recent hikes. I have found the gloves to be able to keep my hands warm to around 10 degrees Fahrenheit. Below this temperature I need to keep my hands in my coat pocket when hiking. I recently went snowshoeing where the temperature was -16 F when I started the hike. Then I had to put hand warmers in my gloves to keep my hands warm. So I cannot recommend these gloves for extreme cold unless you use hand warmers. The touch tips on these gloves I have found adequate for what I need them for:
The gloves are good for clicking on large icons on my iPhone such as the MapMyFitness or music apps that I use when I go either hiking or running. The touch tips however are not very good for smaller icons such as trying to browse the Internet and clicking on links. However this is something that most people buying these gloves are not worried about. I know that these gloves work great for everything that I need them to do. So I definitely recommend checking out the Manzella Hybrid TouchTip gloves for a relatively cheap solution to having a pair of gloves that keeps your hands warm and is smartphone compatible.
