Picture of Day: Lonely New Mexico Windmill
This is a picture of a solitary windmill in the New Mexican desert along I-10. Most of the land along I-10 is desert scrub land used for ranching. These lonely windmills provide the only water available for the cattle that roam here since there is little to no natural water sources to be found in this harsh desert.
