On Walkabout Video: Tongariro National Park

I have finally had the time to upload the short video clips I took while hiking the Tongariro Crossing on New Zealand’s north island.  This first video is of the sunrise from near the start of the Tongariro Crossing:

This second video is from the slopes of the active volcano Mt. Ngauruhoe:

This third video is from a ridgeline I climbed in order to reach the Red Crater that provides a great view of Mt. Ngauruhoe:

This fourth video is of the beautiful volcanic Emerald Lakes on the slopes of the Red Crater:

This fifth video is the view from Blue Lake looking back towards the Red Crater and Mt. Ngauruhoe:

The sixth video is the view from the western desert of Mt. Tongariro, Mt. Ngauruhoe, & Mt. Ruapehu:

Finally, the last video is a view of Mt. Tongariro from the shores of Lake Rotoaira:
